Do you pride yourself on designing beautiful interfaces and intuitive experiences? WayBetter is looking for a Freelance Product Designer to join our growing design team.
We're looking for someone who has deep expertise in digital user interface design, along with a versatile skillset that covers graphic design, product design, and brand design.
You'll be joining a small creative team led by people with tons of vision and talent, who come out of companies like Google Creative Labs, Palantir, Uber, and Airbnb.
The interfaces and products you design will be used by hundreds of thousands of people, and you’ll know that you’re contributing to improving lives by helping players develop healthier habits. We value ambition, talent, and enthusiasm; you’ll thrive with the opportunity to make this role your own as we scale to from 30 to 100 employees.
You will work side by side with our Lead Product Designer and Creative Director to improve our existing products (across iOS, Android, and web), and launch new ones.

About us
WayBetter is reinventing motivation. We make a whole new category of games that help people stick to their commitments — from eating better to exercising more to learning to cook, play the guitar, or speak Spanish. Our games use an innovative mix of manageable goals, social support, and financial incentives. DietBet launched in 2013, StepBet in 2016 and RunBet in 2017
Our approach is based on behavioral science and it works. To date we’ve hosted 700,000 paying players who have collectively lost 10 million pounds and walked 350 million miles. And we’ve paid out over $55 million to our winners.
In our games and in our work we believe that fun is the secret to sustainable success. As such we care a lot about our culture, and practice what we preach by making it enjoyable, social, and rewarding.
WayBetter is the rare company with a double bottom line: we succeed when our customers do. Our mission as a company is to improve people’s lives in very real ways.
Want to apply? Please submit your resume, along with a visual/UI design portfolio that demonstrates your skills, and explains your involvement in each project.
